Important Privacy Choices for Consumers At Independent Agribusiness Professionals, Inc. (“IAP”) we are committed to protecting your privacy. Federal and state laws require us to tell you how we collect, use, share, and protect your personal information. The law also limits how we can use your personal information. This Privacy Statement describes the information that may be collected and how we protect your personal information. INFORMATION WE COLLECT We gather nonpublic information about our customers as may be necessary to conduct business with our customers. We collect nonpublic information about you from the following sources: - When you fill out forms and applications for financing terms and account services, we may collect information such as your business or company name, address, employer identification number, e-mail address, financial statement, income, assets, credit history and other financial information. - When you make transactions with IAP, we may collect information on your payment histories, account usage, business history, account balances and account activity, such as deposits and withdrawals, parties to transactions or loan advances. - We may collect account information, credit history, tax return information from third parties such as credit bureaus or electronic tax return originators, and other information relating to your creditworthiness. INFORMATION WE DISCLOSE We do not disclose any nonpublic personal information about our customers or former customers to anyone, except as permitted by law and except as described here. We may disclose all of the information we collect: - To provide crop and research data. IAP may collect, retain and use aggregate, non-user specific information on agricultural crops, crop protection chemicals, regional use, and other agricultural data in blind, collated, assembled or bundled reports. - To comply with legal requirements. IAP may be required to disclose your personal information in order to comply with legally mandated reporting or disclosure requirements (such as responding to a valid subpoena, warrant, audit, or agency action, or to prevent fraud) or to credit reporting agencies and companies which provide services related to your account. This information sharing is also permitted by law. IAP will use reasonable efforts to limit the personal information it provides for this purpose. We may also disclose information if appropriate to protect our intellectual property or our legal rights. - To third-party crop protection product suppliers. Crop Protection Product Suppliers who do business with IAP may request grower sales data which may include grower name, address, invoice number and date, product name and quantity purchased. These companies agree to safeguard our confidential customer information and they must abide by applicable law. We will not disclose information without your authorization. INFORMATION SECURITY IAP is committed to keeping personal information secure. We have appropriate technical, administrative and physical procedures in place to protect personal information from loss, misuse or alteration. We educate our employees about the importance of confidentiality and customer privacy. We restrict access to nonpublic personal information to those employees who need to know that information. YOUR PRIVACY CHOICES You have the right to restrict how we share your personal and financial information with outside companies that we do business with. Changing your privacy choices, however, does not prohibit the sharing of information necessary for us to follow the law, as permitted by law. Please allow approximately 30 days from our receipt of your privacy choices for them to become effective. Unless you say no by checking the box below, we may share personal information about you as noted above with other companies for their marketing and sales use. • Yes, you may share nonpublic data about me or my company to those crop chemical suppliers that request it. • No, you may not share nonpublic data about me or my company to those crop chemical suppliers that request it. Once you notify us of your privacy choices, they remain in effect until you request a change. You do not need to notify us each time you receive our Privacy Statement.
