Congratulations to IAP Owner, Lyman/Tremont Group for being named ARA Retailer of the Year at the recent ARA Conference in December 2011.

ARA presented three awards at the conference to recognize specific individuals or companies who have made significant contributions to the industry.

The Lyman/Tremont Group Named ARA Retailer of the Year
The award for ARA’s Retailer of the Year remained top secret until the ARA Conference when it was announced that The Lyman/Tremont Group, based in Northern California, was the recipient of this prestigious award. Les Lyman, the company’s president was in attendance at the conference and available to accept the award.  

After receiving the award, Les Lyman participated in an interview with the AgriTalk radio program and shared some of his insights on the topic of sustainability and the unique challenges for agriculture in California. He mentioned that being sustainable has been a moniker of the Lyman/Tremont Group for several years now and that his company has seized the opportunity to be a leader in this area.
